Yesterday, I left the hospital, and took the bus down to that coffeehouse on Hawthorne. I sat on the couch. I don't feel well, from the conflicted systems.

I went to get pizza, for dinner. It was delicious! I sat outside, for a while. Then, I walked back, towards home. I stopped at the gas station, bought a cup of drip coffee, a Perrier (they were sold out of plain), and a Snickers bar. I sat outside until morning. I didn't sleep.

The coffeehouse opened and I got coffee and a day-old, sesame seed, bagel, toasted, with cream cheese. I sat on the couch.

I stopped by the UPS Store. It was a nightmare! (A repeat.) I explained, nicely, why I was there. The first cashier yells that he can't help me. I have to call Ohio. He asks the second cashier to help me. She yells that if I don't have a tracking number, she can't help me. I gave her my photo ID. I gave her my current address. She said that there was nothing, in the computer, under my name. I'll check, again, next week.

Then, I walked to the cafe and got an egg & cheese, bagel, sandwich, with hot sauce, for lunch.

The cafe closes at 2:00 P.M., then I'm going to try to buy a warm jacket. Then, I'm going to go to a shelter. The web site says that they serve a hot meal, for dinner, and have 24/7 restrooms.

The yellow nectarines are on sale, for $2.19/lb., at Sheridan's. It was a little bit crunchy, but juice and delicious. I think that the Maryhill peaches are not quite ripe, but the apples are moving in, for autumn. Eight days left of summer!

On my way here, I stopped at the Next Adventure store and found a red, fleece, vest, on clearance.

My socks and shoes are still a little damp, from Wednesday. The hospital stored them wet, in plastic bags, overnight. The "gateway" problem and other dirty systems are preventing them from drying out. The terrorists are delighted and determined to abuse and torture me. We're not giving up our children!

May we live and die free!
